Recent Project: Cross River Rail Project in Brisbane
The 10.2km Cross River Rail project in Brisbane is a major undertaking as it builds a second river crossing in the core of the cities rail network.
Early on in the project we were approached with a unique design challenge. The solution required our expert design knowledge of the application to re-engineer our Heavy Duty Slipjoint (HDSJ) to incorporate fireproofing. Something never been done before.
Throughout the project we’ve supplied Heavy Duty Slipjoint (HDSJ), Pot bearings, and Rubber Bearing Strips working with multiple stakeholders in the Unity Alliance as they deliver The Rail, Integration and Systems package or works.
Despite COVID-19 disruptions and international supply chain challenges, our project management and design capabilities enabled us to deliver on this large scale infrastructure project.
